GWCC Announces New Executive Director

The Greater Warrenton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce their new Executive Director, Deanna M. Hammer. Ms. Hammer will assume her position as Executive Director immediately.

Deanna, a resident of Warrenton for almost 22 years, has been an active volunteer and small business owner within Fauquier County and surrounding communities. Ms. Hammer has extensive experience as a Director of Conventions and Meetings for a national education association. She also has over 12 years of experience in sales with Marriott International, Inc. and Westin Hotels in the corporate and nonprofit markets segments.

Amelia Stansell, President of the Greater Warrenton Chamber said, “We are happy to welcome Deanna to the GWCC, and we are certain with her experience and expertise that we will continue to serve our membership well, help them prosper and grow their businesses, and meet our overall goal to build business and have a positive impact on the quality of life in Warrenton and Fauquier County.” Deanna lives in Warrenton with her husband, Scott, and daughter, Lauren.
