Does the thought of walking into a room of strangers make you nervous? Do you know how to identify and leverage your natural network? How do you manage all of those contacts and turn them into revenue?
Join the Greater Warrenton Chamber of Commerce and the Haymarket Gainesville Business Association for their first joint workshop to cover these very topics. This interactive workshop is facilitated by HGBA President, Amelia Stansell of the BB&T Heathcote Financial Center. She will be covering topics such as: how to identify your natural market; leveraging your network to turn contacts into cash; networking faux pas'. She will conclude by discussing how to work a room for maximum results. The seminar will be held from 4:30pm to 6:00pm and is $10 for anyone that attends.
Following this session is an opportunity to enjoy the bounty of the vine that Barrel Oak Winery has to offer while meeting over 100 other businesses and growing your network during the no-host networking social held immediately after the seminar. Both the workshop and networking session are open to members of the GW Chamber and the HGBA. Our social mixer begins at 6:00pm and is free to attend. Food will be available from Local SixFortySeven and, of course, wine tastings are available from Barrel Oak.
